About
Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media Broadcast and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University. Her career began in multimedia, working at a college radio station and interning at CBS Radio in Cleveland before managing Echo Mountain Recording Studios in Asheville, where she worked her way up from intern to Studio Manager. A love of entrepreneurship and music brought her to Colorado, where she served as Events and Production Manager at eTown Hall, overseeing all music and events at the beloved community venue. She then joined the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at CU Boulder, followed by a role in software at StarRez, where she managed events, marketing, and social media, and led North American trade show operations. Her path continued at the Beck Venture Center at Colorado School of Mines, where she managed the building, community, and events while collaborating with notable figures in government and industry, including U.S. senators, NASA, Lunar Outpost, and entrepreneurial ventures across the Front Range. Jenny has since relocated to Boone with her family and is excited to join GEAR UP, where she looks forward to combining her passion for education with her commitment to access and opportunity.
