I am a student in the process of becoming an educator in North Carolina. During 2024, I worked with NCED Corps as a high-impact tutor in Cherokee County, NC while the program was active in its last year. For the 2025/2026 school year, I worked as an interim Teacher’s Assistant for a 1st/2nd grade split classroom at Martins Creek Elementary. While there I was able to apply skills in teaching, lesson planning, and organizing activities for students.
